Saturday Evening 2006-Detroit Music Awards Finalist in 7 catergories including the only album which made two catergories Blues&Acoustic for his release "Deep Water Blues" Since arriving here in Detroit in 2000 he's been wowing audiences with his energetic performances. In 2002 he was the 1st winner of the Detroit Blues Society Best Solo Performer . He represented Michigan at the International competition in Memphis Tenn. He's performed over the years at such venues/events Pontiac Arts,Beats and Eats, Detroit Festival of Arts, Attic Bar, Ferndale Blues festival, Birmingham& Rochester Farmer's Market, Coffee Beanery Grand Opening in Lathrup Village and Ferndale, and 5th Aveues in Royal Oak/Comerica Park to mention a few. The singer -songwriter-musician-actor has 7 albums to his credit including two singles, one single "Welcome to Detroit" with background vocals of the Original Vandellas was performed on WDIV Channel 4 for a Superbowl pregame program at Campus Martius-downtown Detroit. He's done community benefits for Freedom House,Cystic Fibrosis, Henry Clark Stroke Prevention, Christmas Year Around Program (Daily Tribune) and most recently coordinated a UNICEF Benefit which raised $1500 for the U.S. Fund for Children of the Middle East.
