Being away on business usually sucks but spending time in Vancouver is always enjoyable and this time, I even found a great little store for vinyl. Noize Sound Inc. on Seymour St. is a small, not too pretty store but they have LOTS of new and used records. Picked up the following, all new/sealed and all where between $10 and $15 Canadian (!!).

Can't wait to get home and spin these. I was kind of surprised how many new re-released classic Jazz & Blues albums where available and in a small, unpretentious store like this, the price is even great. Maybe I better go back and clean out their racks before I get on the plane for home.

were some of these Original Jazz Classics??? If so, they're available through the Fantasy catalog at attractive prices (so you needn't clean the racks right this minute).

The Chet Baker is an Original Jazz Classic, the Evens stuff is Riverside but not stamped with the OJC label. The Rollins is Contemporary, the Monks Columbia, SRV Epic.
