There's been a lot of talk in the audiophile world over this weekend of Tidal bringing MQA streaming to the masses. Tidal reports that it's only streaming MQA through its desktop browser app and shows about 200 albums available.
I'd like to report that Bluesound (and NAD) users can get full MQA streaming through their devices as well, without having to use a computer at all. I'm showing full MQA streams coming directly from my 1st gen Bluesound Node that I bought for $125 in Barter Town. I'm running the BlueOS app on my iPhone. Because the Node is fully MQA compatible and comes with an awesome DAC onboard, I can't think of a simpler, cheaper way to get full MQA into your ears. My ENTIRE audio system consists of a Tidal subscription, a Bluesound Node connected by RCA directly into my amp, running into my speakers. Dead simple, and it sounds amazing.
It also appears that there are far more albums available in MQA than Tidal is referencing. 700 and climbing every day. An up to date list is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10VtON9VjMAt3uyHC2-Oo2MjIa3orv9DKZfwiRQKmTAA/htmlview#
