Heavy Metal. With the 445 Wildcat of course ...

I remember stomping down on the gas too hard a few times, and burning off the rear tires coming off a light. Pop! Pop! Vacuum assist on the throttle would jam, and even turning off the key didn't help. <G>

One of those Style and Power in one package deals.

Beautiful C2! My current C5 Convertible looks domesticated next to that brute!

I have almost the same car ( 65 Acadian) , though 230 needs bearings as they knock. Previous owner drove it too
fast and I'm the 3rd owner with 155K miles. I bought it for parts for my 65 convert that I'm restoring but is too
nice to part out. My convert had the same engine which was gone so I put in a great running low miles 305 for now with
a TH-350. It too had the PG but didn't know the condition.

Anyway would make a great sleeper and they are nice riding and safe handling cars on ice/slush as I got caught in a spring snow
storm (I don't run them in the winter). To me that's an indication how they will handle in an emergency!

Mine was a 64 chevelle. My best friend at the time had a conv 283.Beautiful yellow color.I lived in winterpeg at the time and that car was a winter tank.Portage ave was the Canadian version of American graffiti.

I will try and post a better pic of it, but here is one from our Heritage Days Parade escorting the Homecoming King and Queen.

"Angry Rocket" was a nickname for these... ;) I like the 1960 version also. First year the Buick tri-shield logo appeared.

Tanker that truck looks pretty good as my 74 is rusted away. It originally had a 454 and TH400 (It will have an electric kick down switch under the gas pedal). Being a C20 I thought you would would originally also have the same AT tans. in that era anyway. Bulletproof reliable trucks for sure. If I ever get some extra $ I would restore mine plus add the collapsible steering and move to a fuel tank between the frame rails.
