Yes. MA9S2 are monoblocks. I really feel these are very good amps. I also have a pair of McIntosh MC601 monoblocks and I think the Marantz amps are much better. Seriously.

CD 94 Gold

A friend of mind managed to snag a CD94 champagne ( or gold ) about 8 months ago. They seem to be pretty scarce and fetch big bucks. I think he was looking for a long time and managed to get one from Brazil if I remember correctly. How is the sound quality compared to more modern CDP. They look awesome and I'd love to get me one for the collection.

Recently I did listening sessions on the new cd player, but over the 80/90 years this was the reference.
Inside Marants there is a Philips CD 960. While Marantz black or gold there is no difference...only the colours
only two defects are:
- try open close
- RCA analog on rear if u used more to test more cable connect...

Just picked up a Marantz 2325 J4. Does anybody know what the significance of a J4 model is (something about accepting different voltage)? Also, how rare are the J4 models and how many were made? Cheers!!

Beautiful 2325. I really want one of those.
There was a 2325 recently on CL for around $600. I didn't jump on it quick enough. It was gone pretty quick.

I have a nice 2230 that was recapped by our own patfont. Great sounding receiver that sounds better than new, and should stay that way for a long time.

Just cleaned up a really dirty 1060 I got off clist. These units are super sleek, might end up using it as a preamp.
