Tips on using AK's Software

Need some help here...forums seem to mark themelves as read all the time. How can I stop threads in a forum from being marked read, unless I actually read them, or mark them as read? I'd love to be able to catch up on reading threads, but there's no way to tell where I left off.

Thanks!:thmbsp:

Replies to what?

Hit the 'go advanced' button below posts and then the image button to add a url OR

copy the url (link) of a pic and place type it instead of the dots here;

(Just HTML code, works on every forum ;) )

HTML is really simple! if someone has added a pic or link to his post you can see the HTML makeup after clicking reply.

Example..

-----------
Recommended place to host pics is;

User CP

Is their a way to get your subsription if you paid for one, to have the subsribed red box below your name?

Cool but HELP

[ I have a question where do I go and what do I do so AK gets a percentage of the profits when I buy and sell on Ebay, I seen it once and read it but can't find it again. Thanks everything else is going great.:D

I just posted my introduction a few hours ago. There are a few typos I'd like to go back and correct, but the "edit" button is no longer available on my post (yes, I looked while logged in). When I first made the post it was on the bottom left near "Report". Is there a limit on the length of time posts are available for editing or am I overlooking something?

Cheers!

How does Voltcontrol get all that stuff a t the bottom of his post? Signature? Status? When I try I get error messages " your entry is 10,000 characters too long". I wanna list my components. I like seeing others.

Is there any way to search within a particular thread? I only see the search option to search an entire forum, but once inside a thread I don't see a link to search within the thread. There are some threads that are really long and not easy to find something specific.

What browser are you using?

If you can see the search option in the upper right hand corner ( looks like a magnifying glass), and you open it you should see an option search " this thread only"

Capture.JPG This is the way it looks to me. Note I have unchecked "Search this forum only" near the bottom and checked "Search this thread only

Chrome. I see it now, thanks. Sheesh, I get dumber as I get older. On other forums, I usually see a link near the top where it says "search this thread" or something like that. I didn't think to click on the Search box.

No prob. It's not like I found it the first time. I may be older than you. ;^)

Although some of you have been on board for quite a while, there are a lot of new faces as well. I thought I'd take a sec to point out a few things with AK's software, things you can do that you might not have known :)
