Hi guys. Just wanted to share some pictures of my Lenco L75 that has just returned home from being veneered and painted. Turned out very clean looking. I like it. Just need to put it back together. Will post some more pictures.

Very nice looking indeed.
I don't really like the Lenco-Basic combination, as the tonearm tends to sit too high for most cartridges, but this is an easy change for future days.

Is the Basik not height adjustable?
Yep, and after being lowered to the minimum - it's too high.
It's a known issue within Lenco modifiers - the Basic isn't the best match. My personal tonearm of choice is the Ortofon AS 212, which falls right into the original cut, is relatively inexpensive, sounds amazing, and is quite easy to match with cartridges.

BTW - IMHO, the original L75 tonearm, with fresh lube and a fresh set of set of V-blocks, sounds better than early Basic arms, and matches the later ones. It's not a bad arm - just doesn't withstand time as well as other tonearms out there.
