As "soft" of a variant of rock as most of his material in the 80s forward came to be, this is actually a well-recorded and engineered album and sounds simply amazing. No, it's not "Danger Zone," "This Is It" or any of the Loggins & Messina era material, but it's enough to make a listener appreciate the depth of a truly adept singer.

... as if he was simultaneously playing the guitar and drums by himself, right? I'm a huuuggeee fan of the group and always suspected he had a bit of an "air" about him. Even still, I can't get enough of Synchronicity and Zenyatta Mondatta all these years later.
