Want to clean the front controlls on my AU-7900 amp.

I searched the Sansui forum here and Youtube for a detailed information on how to do this but didn't find any.
I am a totally newbie to cleaning the amp, so I just need some detailed info how to clean the front controls of my AU 7900, so I don't damage anything.
I have Deoxit and I know you spray it into the openings on the controls and turn them about a dozen times, once you take the top off the amp, just want to make sure I'm spraying it in the right places.
I read that I might have to take the faceplate off to get at the various toggle switches is that true?

Disconnected the amp and took the top off but not quite sure where to spray the Deoxit?

You should really do a bit of reading about what to do here, as you can make a mess if not done right. It is important to use as little DeoxIT as possible - but in exactly the right place.

And perhaps this

Should help a great deal.
I read the first thread and will checkout the second one. Just wish there was more info on the AU-7900 in particular.

I've read both of these threads and the problem is even though the go into detail about cleaning an amp they don't specify how to clean on an AU-7900. I've taken the cover off the AU-7900 and I don't see any covers on the pots with access holes to spray the DeoxIT. I know I have to take the faceplate off to spray the switches can I access the other pots when I do that?

if the bottom cover comes off go in that way .if not some taking apart is needed . front panel off . remove nuts from correct parts . pull out pcb with pots attached .
sorry to be generalising here but never worked one .. most amps etc are pretty similar .

Yes I can do most of that just have to know where on the pots and switches do I spray the DeoxIT?

Here are some pictures not of my amp but they are exactly the same as my amp, I had the top and bottom off. Just need to know where to spray? I don't see the holes in the pots, that other people speak of, on amps where you spray into?
