Here's a look under the hood of my latest acquisition. This is by far the finest craftsmanship I've seen in an amp. It's almost a shame to hide it away in my entertainment stand. Have a look for yourselves.

Interesting heat sinking and it appears to use the smaller cap at each transistor instead of the big caps we are used to in the old gear. This is a nice upgrade to the power supply in newer units.

Very nice - how's it sound?
I need some more time with it before forming a concrete opinion, but I'm loving it. It needs some time to warm up but, after that, it's just smooth and musical. So far, I think it has great synergy with my system.

The thing that always blew me away about the Rowland gear was the insides are as nice as the outsides. And they make some nice outsides!

I'm a sucker for a well designed and laid out amp. One of the first things I do when amp shopping is find a shot of the inside. Having worked in machining and manufacturing in the past (well, I technically still do, but in a different capacity), I appreciate the time and attention to detail that went into this amp.

Nice looking amp!
Thanks!
