I bought this after reading an enthusiastic review. I really tried hard to hear what the fuss was about. After hearing inappropriate pedaling, missing notes, added notes and phrases(!), and incredible self indulgence, I really don't get it.

I'm NOT saying that he's not a talented pianist as I can appreciate his technique as an exercise, but I am lost as to what he is attempting to do.

I can't recommend it as a purchase, but if you already own it and like it, please explain it to me.

I listened to the same performed by Heidi Lowy on the radio at work this morning, supposedly. Then, I thought I was listening to Beethoven. Now, I'm quite certain I was. I think the station played the wrong piece.
