Stromberg and Carlson behemoths

Saw these at my fave Savers in the Boston area. They were in the furniture department so I'm pretty sure no one knows they are speakers.
Listed for $24.99 each.
They're about three feet tall and four feet wide. I was not able to easily pop the grill off so I'm not sure what's underneath. Looked like it my have been two tweeters and to big woofers.
Anybody have any info on these?
And no I didn't bring them home.
I live in a cape and these would not fit in any room I have!

Not sure what to do. These seem like an interesting refurb project but I akready have a bunch of half assed projects I'm "working on".
The sheer size of these is a major issue.
But I do have a 20% off coupon...

Is there an issue with RF475s?
Yes, many positive ones.

RF-475 is a fairly uncommon, and sought after coaxial.

I think you can find some original literature on Tom Bavis' site.

boom done ...into the back of my truck to sort out the details later....its one of the missing pieces to my Stromberg Carlson system which consists of AP-55 monoblocks ,ase434 pre and FM SR-445a stereo tuner.

Good on you, Hunter! We absolutely must have pictures inside and out. For documentation, of course.;)

That's how i read it.

Of course if someone from here did grab them that would save my back (and marriage) some strain... we'll see soon.
