Every day's a good day to hunt for music. I think I will cruise by my Goodwill and see what they got. They lowered their prices on cd and vinyl to 50, last time I was there.Love it....makes me want to go record shopping.
It is a sad story. The makers of the documentary were very respectful. They interviewed one survivor who is in his 90's. Put a lump in my throat. That is a sad story, I've been out in the middle of nowhere, No land, Dark as ink. No way would I want to be in that water
I am not yet familiar with Husker Du
They are the Godfather's of 80s Alternative & Grunge. Grant was the drummer and co-singer. I was always more of a Bob Mould fan (guitar and the other singer), but Grant was a huge part of their sound and vision.
Glad to hear you made it relatively unscathed. I was without power for 3 days with no generator (and yes I have your recommended generator on my list).Guys, just wanted to give you a quick update.... thankfully Tallahassee did not experience the worst of Hurricane Irma so we have mainly been dealing with some downed trees and power outages here.
I just got my power restored late yesterday afternoon after line crews replaced a couple of broken utility poles near the entrance to our neighborhood. So, I was on generator power for about two and a half days.
Things are basically back to normal for our area at this point. South Florida and the Keys in particular are still a mess.... it will take a while for them to recover.
