Noresco NC-1010 Tube Phonograph Fix it ?

I have aquired an old Turntable with built in amp.
It needs a little bit of servicing but it works.
The 2 speaker outputs on the back
are homemade by an unknown previous owner.

It puts out almost no sound when 2 speakers are hooked up.
When one speaker is removed the audio gets much louder but still not very loud.

So I opened it up and to my surprise there was a tube amp inside.

I am handy with tools and a soldering iron but I know nothing about tube technology.
Is this worth fixing ?

Here are some pics

There isn't too much to replace in the amp. Maybe a few caps (including the CAN), possibly a few resistors, and 3 tubes. 12ax7 and 2 6bq5's??? If so about 4-5watts per channel. It could quite possibly have had RCA jacks for speaker output's originally.

Can you verify the tubes? The amplifier should come out from the inside after removing the knobs, then a couple of nuts on the front panel. Find someone local who has a tube tester or if you have an amp or receiver that uses the same tube #'s, swap those tubes in and compare with the pulled tubes.

I have decided to sell it. It is pretty cool but I already have a turntable.

I am amazed at the quality of the cabinet and the heavy duty lid with real thick smoked plexi

Wow! Pics a year later. :D

Simple little hot chassis design. I'm guessing 50C5 and 12AX7 are the tubes. It probably needs a general recap to bring it back to life and since it is a series string chassis, it would be safe to operate in its original cabinet and setting.

Dammmnnn. did Kodak lose your photos from developing and just sent them back to you?

The Fotomat closed ...
