Seems a wire inside the plug was loose...this sparked on me when I was getting ready to unplug it to make room for the new amp. Not sure if it blew the fuse or anything else. I'll take a look at it soon and rewire a new plug for it and check out the fuse.

Best to replace the power cord from the receiver power board. Most likely soldered. If you are not adept to soldering it is easy to learn or cheap to have done. I have so many things around here to rob a power cord from it's sad. Do not splice it.
After removal slowly razor the cord apart to see what went wrong. Always grab the plug to unplug. Never the cord. But I know you know this.
