Good luck on your recovery--I just ran across this thread, and can sympathize. I am a contractor, and spend so much time in the air (ladders, scaffold, lifts), but managed a severe compression fracture of L1--of all things--helping a friend move--didn't fall off a roof or ladder--just down a steep staircase with 200lbs of books on a dolly that landed on top of me at the bottom of the stairs Lived with it for almost 18 months with basically no treatment--first doctor wanted to write me scripts for opioids like bags of M&Ms, second one was a "voodoo" doctor (and English was clearly a second or third language), and the third was "we can do fusion surgery next week"--not on me, you won't--so I just sucked it up and lived with it. Just last month, I underwent a laser procedure (2 actually) and the results are amazing. I am still recovering (not lifting heavy shit and not working 14hr days), but the outcome has been great (so far). So best wishes and good luck on your recovery!!!

Surgery was something I wanted to avoid at all costs.
As someone who spends a lot of time on ladders , I might hate them more than any of you. Get well soon!
Thank you so very much for this positive update, Sir, keep on keeping on!
Greetings from Germany!
Some new music is on it's way to you, mailed today...

Glad to hear your operation went well. Get some rest, now would be a good time for listening to your system, instead of moving equipment about. Maybe I'll send you some music?
