The Coltrane was a little too intense for the time of night; had to table it after Side 1 for now. Plus, it's late and I'm over-budget again, time-wise. Have to say goodnight for now, but first, I must highly recommend this video. Regardless of how you feel about modern-day Crosleys, this is a bit of a scream. Watch it for as long as you can; there are several "pay-off" points. Enjoy:

Mother In Law ..RIP..Had one of these, And a bunch of big band records. It did the job for an 85 yr old lady. However, I was changing the stylus weekly. A bit abusive with it. I checked the records, Not one playable.

Kendrick Lamar's appearance on Freedom jumps into the fray out of the blue. A complete surprise to me! Like, whoa, there's Kendrick Lamar! And he nails it.

Absolutely love that cover! There are several of those 1960s Blue Note LPs in my collection that I purchased strictly because of the model on the cover. I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Hmm. Not sure. It reminds me of a kind of squash, the kind with skin that's orange and ribbed and thick. See them a lot around here in fall.
