Rumours vs Tango in the night.

Is it me... Or fleetwood mac best album is Tango in the Night and not Runours.?

I've had Rumors on vinyl for some time... It's slmost a pen audiophile fetish... But song for song... I think Tango in the night is just a best album....

Any one shares this idea?

I think Rumours suffers a little bit from being played so much, so it can be easy to burn out on some of those tunes. But I personally prefer Rumours to Tango. When Tango first came out, I found it a little too slick/polished for my taste.

I've since warmed up to it more, but it's actually the least favorite of the Buckingham/Nicks era (excluding Say You Will - I prefer Tango to that one).

Rumours is too yuppie pablum. Tango has "Little Lies" my second favorite Mac song next to "Green Manalishi".

Tango in the Night for me. I find I skip some tracks on Rumours but listen the whole album when on TITN. Cheers.

Tusk ... and by a long shot.

Tusk is fun because it's quirky and there's a lot of variety of tunes on it, including some really great ones. Definitely not an album that's been overplayed by a lot of people.
