I agree. The music transports you to another era and they are beautifully recorded. Those albums she recorded with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra are real special! Opening up that album cover (hat box) for the first time is like a jigsaw puzzle.
I'm still looking for this one. I have the retitled, re-released version with the sweaty bouncing girl. But this one is just to cool.

I bought three of their mid-70s albums when they were new and I still have them. I'm going to have to put one on.I have most AWB albums. Bought the "Pick Up The Pieces" 45 when it was new back in the day. still have it!
I love that album art!
Good stuff!

That live album is excellent. Lots of energy!AWB is really tearing it up on "Pick Up The Pieces" on this "Live" album!! The sound quality is excellent!

Agreed this one is a treasure. Joe Jackson’s Big World is also a 3-sider but Genesis’ Three Sides Live has 4. Go figureEric Clapton and Friends “An Appreciation of JJ Cale”
As you can imagine if you haven’t heard it, it’s an awesome tribute! John Mayer’s version of Magnolia really stands out. First three did record I have seen. The fourth side is a imprint of a guitar. View attachment 1085815View attachment 1085816
The live album is my favorite. It has so much raw energy, it makes me move. That's my favorite AWB album followed by "Person To Person".
