lol... I saw that and thought, what the hell?! At least it's good.View attachment 1087154 View attachment 1087156 Humble Pie, “Go for the Throat” 1981. Pretty much the death knell of any semblance of the original band. Pretty good album but certainly not the HP of old.
Sounds eerily like the intro music to The Exorcist?Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells

I bought this circa 1981 with a whole bunch of other albums at Tower Records on Watt Ave. in Sacramento, CA. I was visiting my aunt and uncle who lived close by. I just sold my El Camino and had some cash! I figured it was Humble Pie so it had to be killer. I haven't seen another copy of so I assume it didn't sell very well.lol... Yes, it was used in The Exorcist.Sort of
Some really good deep organ bass in the first track.
The Tower Records mothership! I guess if you were a Humble Pie fan and saw the cover, you'd have the same reaction as I did and be shocked and a bit wary. Kinda funny, I noticed that last night when I was listening to Melissa Manchester. She was unrecognizable in the early 80s.I bought this circa 1981 with a whole bunch of other albums at Tower Records on Watt Ave. in Sacramento, CA.
