i used my new spin cleaner on this one yesterday, i must say it worked great, not a bad song on this one at all.
Thanks to MTV and a buddy having it on cassette i have known of this since it was new. Its still unique and great from cover to cover. It is a great album and a great band. And Buena is just an infectious song. That opening bassline can make me stop dead in my tracks.
Thanks. Mike Shrieve was fantastic with Santana, then seemed to drop off the face of the earth. I did not know about HSAS.

I will put that one on my list.If your familiar with Sammy's solo catalog, Along those lines. He left the guitars to Neil, Who brings his well known, And unusual Journey tone. A very good combo.

Makes me wonder how many great albums I have passed over at the thrift, because I just did not know.
YES it does. I probably paid $1 for it. I have a duplicate copy I bought new in the 70s.Damn! Does that price tag REALLY say 50 cents?
The photos ELEKTRA continued to use of Jim on his albums were all from 1967, the last year he looked like that. If anyone here has THE DOORS' album 13, just flip over the album cover and there's a more representative photo of Jim after 1967.
Shrieve played in Automatic Man for their first album in 1976.Thanks. Mike Shrieve was fantastic with Santana, then seemed to drop off the face of the earth. I did not know about HSAS.
