Help me find hi-res photos of B&W album covers? (community project)

I'm moving to a new place with a dramatic hallway, and I would like to hang a matching set of black and white images thru the hallway.

While it would be easy for me to hang up 12" LP covers, I would prefer to find the highest resolution images of some records, but WITHOUT TITLE OR PRINTING (only the photograph that is in the cover)

It's a little difficult to find all of these images in hi-res without the title and print work... would you help me by teaching me how to find these sorts of images?

[I'm also open to b&w suggestions!]

EDITED so that I don't sound so demanding. oops.

Might be tough to find extant high-res images of the album covers you want (often the images are copyrighted, and high-resolution files would likely cost quite a bit, if you could get them at all).

You might have more luck with a Library of Congress collection. For Jazz images, check out the William P. Gottlieb collection (at least some of these are 300 ppi at around 18" x 18"...)

Thanks for typing a thoughtful reply, I'm getting strung up about this on reddit lol

that's exactly the kind of resource I'm looking for. thanks for teaching me

Find the image you want, and then use photo editing software like Lightroom or photoshop and do it yourself!

That way if there’s something specific you want, and you can’t find it in black and white... you can just find a good quality image of the cover, and then doctor it up yourself. You could even get fancy and remove whatever you wanted out of the picture, if you wanted to spend a little time in photoshop.
