Yes, furthest away is a Hornby “The Duke of Gloucester” and in front is the Bachmann. A Gresley V2 #60834. It’s nicely weathered. The Duke is a new one and starts off smoothly at slow speeds.Came out great. That is a European steam loco perhaps Hornby or Basset Lowke..
Sorry folks. I forgot all about this thread since I joined a model railway forum. I’ve also been watching you tube videos of all things that go choo choo . My new year’s resolution for this year is to get the train room cleared of all the junk we’ve acumulated but it’ll be a slowish process.
We’ve also been getting our kitchen fitted and more stuff joined the other junk.

The floor, which is still the old floor, was going to be difficult to have lifted so we left it and it needs cleaned and waxed but the difference of the kithchen is like night and day. My favourite part is the dishwasher, or “precious” as I’ve been calling it ha ha.
Beautifully detailed locos!Great thread! I collect and run Marklin. I'm (very slowly) building a layout. Here are a few locos that I bought over the last year or so...
About 10 months ago, I wrote: "...The layout I have (still up for grabs, for no money if I don't have to touch it) was something my dad bought at a church rummage sale because his make-your-own plans never materialized... So it's time to let someone else take it and run, and get a good head start."
It's still available... Central Ohio.

Maybe a miniature white van selling miniature crappy speakers would be a cool piece??Who has a layout that has a HiFi store in the main street?
Maybe a superdetailed shop with vintage miniature speakers and stock on the shelves or in the windows. A few lit up signs, and, everything at 1970s prices!
