I love that album. Most of the cuts are on the mellow side, but overall, it's a winner IMO.

It's not a pretty thing losing sleep. I feel for you, especially when you have to get up and get going to work or for your family needs. Melatonin helps me with Jet Lag and adjusting to time zones, but then I seem to get into a slump where I'm up at odd hours, and then want to sleep in the middle of the day.
I've never tried Melatonin. I'm more of a beer kinda guy.:rflmao:

"Wingy Sings, Manone Plays -
'Isle of Capri' & other Great Hits"
Wingy Manone

Jasmine JASMCD 2563 MONO
(Compact Disc)
Released 2000

24 tracks recorded in 1935 and 1936 by (one-armed) New-Orleans-born trumpet player, vocalist, and band leader, Wingy Manone with "His Orchestra" and a few other ensembles.

As the author of the liner notes points out Manone sang like Louis Prima some years before that other younger New Orlinnean trumpet player ever did.

We're talking hot jazz here, of the kind designed to keep people's spirits up not just in their depression but in The Great Depression.

I wish I was a beer guy at times. Usually after having one too may Greyhounds in Vegas. :) Luckily they don't put in much Vodka in Vegas. Now, Laughlin Nevada casinos? They liquor you up big time. One Greyhound in Laughlin and I'm toasted. Two different philosophies. Vegas casinos keep the drinks cheap to save cost. Laughlin casinos figure if you are blitzed, you'll gamble more recklessly, so they don't worry about losing money on booze when they'll get it back 10 fold on drunk wagering.

Melatonin works for me. Especially after Jet Lag adjusting from Eastern to Hawaiian and VS VS. That six hour difference kills me. Problem is, I think it's addictive. Not like an opiate, but I find I don't sleep as well without it, so I tend to want to take one every night. Not a good thing.

Addictive in what sense? I sometimes have insomnia issues and I always have melatonin handy on a stand by basis. Yeah, I don't like the idea of depending on something on a regular basis, which is why I only take it when I start experiencing insomnia. Otherwise, if I'm getting adequate sleep, then it stays in the cabinet. I've had discussions with my physician on this and sees nothing wrong in taking this as opposed to taking something stronger which could cause an addiction.
