Post Your Marantz Gear Here!!!

Very nice. I’ll bet they sound great. This is my office setup. My brother is a woodworker and is making me a walnut cabinet for the 5010B. I replaced the motor and belts on his Marantz 5010 deck, so he’s building the cabinet in return.F0331E30-D472-4A03-BD82-A0D902C68248.jpeg

Waaaahoooo!!

Its Here!! Now I say we do a Marantz Roll Call to Ring in the new forum...

Marantz 2330B
Marantz 1030
Marantz SP 1250
Marantz 6200
Marantz 6200 (yes! 2!)

My collection is small, but growing!
a 2220b with the faceplate cover still on!

Nah.. it clips on the big drivers.

the receiver only puts out 17 watts per channel in 4x17 mode so you need pretty efficient speakers for it to drive them. Are you switching the power mode switch in the rear to 2x40 watts per channel with the bigger drivers that should drive some pretty decent speakers in stereo.

Yes, I only use the 2 x 40 setting. Don't get me wrong, I do like it and it does a decent job when I pair it up with the correct speakers. I have a couple of big Kenwoods that can handle the 15" Altecs that I am quite fond of. The Kenwoods get majority air time.

Sooooo whatcha doing with the 4400?

Thanks. I was the origional owner of the 4400 bought it while in Japan in 1974. I sold it for more than twice what I paid for it. Lol. It seems to be a very popular vintage reciever.
