Last night, after deciding not to go to a concert (as it was an hour away, started at 9:30 pm and I start work at 6 am), I went to the record store hoping to pick up Mt Eerie's "A Crow Looked at Me". They did not have it so I picked up Nina Simones "The Colpix Singles" and the Screaming Females new album "All at Once". I confess I had never heard the Screaming Females before, though I had heard good reviews of the album, so I decided to risk it. I listened to three sides last night and enjoyed it. Will give it a more in depth listen today. And then the Nina Simone.

Bought at Best Buy ... also liked that album a lot.

Was taken back yesterday by how good it sounded to me on new Vinyl. Best I've ever heard that album ... I own
a CD copy and also have listened to it on Neil's web site. Have to keep in mind though ... I put more $$$ into my Vinyl than Digital playback thus far.

The album is spread across three lp sides with the fourth one etched. It's Gatefold.
