My Kenwood gear... i love it specially the TT

This KA-6006 was recapped by an AKer before I traded for it. He also made new oak end panels and painted the top. It looks as close to new as possible. I'm using it in my laptop system driving a pair of Paradigm Titan v1 (nearfield) or a pair of EPI 200C (not so near).

I also have a bone stock KA-7300 that still kicks ass in my basement system, and a recapped Basic C2 preamp in my living room system.

I am particularly impressed with phono section. It makes my old JVC L-F41 sound as good as it did when I bought it in 1980. He has restored quite a few of these and I think he’s got it down. It’s giving my restored Marantz 1060 a run for its money! Cosmetically it is virtually flawless. I will take some pictures of the innards tomorrow.

My newly restored KA-5700. This is the second KA-5700 in the collection. I've had it a few years collecting dust, but it was forced into a full restoration and subsequent duty when the Pioneer SA-510 blew the tweeter out of my beloved JBL L20T. This will be going into the bench setup to replace the Pioneer that's being decommissioned.
