I love that LP. I'm putting it on next.
I saw them opening for King Diamond on that tour. King did not show, as happened on another King show I went to. So Flotsam was the only band that played that night. They went a few hours. I think they played all of the songs from the first two albums, and a couple of covers. One of my favorite shows ever.
Boy and Howdy!
Yeah that's taking metal right over the edge into speed-punk!!!
Assuming your copy is a re-issue due to the color of the vinyl and label. Looks Awesome.
My 1985 Megaforce Records MRI 1269 for comparison.

A local record store has this in their bins, but they want $30.00 for it. Not sure if it's worth that much.....is it?
I just got the new one today Mindfucker, hopefully I can give it a listen to later, I really liked Last Patrol, it's more I the vein of Dopes to infinity. This one was a regular player in my car back when it was released. Saw them in a little club on this tour as well.
Not up to speed on them nowadays, but did enjoy listening to them through the late '90's. Just pulled Powertrip off the shelf for the road trip into work tomorrow morning.
Lots of interesting stuff represented on this collection.
I'd say yes, but only if it's worth ten times that on discogs and 1000 people want it and nobody is selling it...and then I'd sell it immediately.A local record store has this in their bins, but they want $30.00 for it. Not sure if it's worth that much.....is it?
Yeah, $10 to $12 sounds about right.$30 Yikes! Wouldn't spend more than $10 - $12 for it. More of a novelty addition to a collection considering most of the bands on the record didn't amount to much.

Well for me the new Monster Magnet is very garage rock sounding, a.K.a.,Ramomes, Iggy Pop, kinda. I was a little disappointed, it was my first listen.I just got the new one today Mindfucker, hopefully I can give it a listen to later, I really liked Last Patrol, it's more I the vein of Dopes to infinity.
My feelings exactly! I am a huge fan, but I only listened to the new CD once and then sold it on ebay.Well for me the new Monster Magnet is very garage rock sounding, a.K.a.,Ramomes, Iggy Pop, kinda. I was a little disappointed, it was my first listen.
