Yamaha CA-810 power switch issue

I am having a problem with the power switch on my Yamaha CA-810 integrated amp. It is stuck in the ON position. When I flip the toggle switch down to turn it off, it springs back up into the ON position.
Is there an easy fix for this? If not, how difficult would changing out the switch be? Are replacement switches even available?

The little latching pin is broken or out of position.

Pretty easy. Hard part is finding a replacement.

Yes. In parts units.

I'd disassemble the existing switch and see if it can be salvaged.

I got as far as trying to remove the metal front panel in order to get at the mounting screws for the power switch. But the meters were attached to the panel, and I didn't see how to detach them. Any tips?

The meters are glued to the front panel. Either follow the leads back to the board and desolder or desolder the leads from the meters themselves. I prefer the board since there is less risk of damage to the meters.

Also, caution: the power LED is also attached to the front panel and the tiny part that passes through the panel is very easy to snap off.
