What TT's do you folks have

I have two humble turntables. A Technics Sl-j3 and a Technics SL-D202. I love both of them. I always seem to go back and forth on which one I perfer, so I just love them equally now.

Just picked up a Music Hall mmf 2.3 for the living room system. After replacing the factory load with a nice Ortofon F15E I had lying around and also going with the acrylic platter replacement, I think I've actually got a pretty nice sounding table. Very musical, very quiet and the lightweight arm does a very nice job of tracking without adding any extra feedback. Funny how the arm geometry is almost identical to my 1990 Pro-Ject One original edition.

I own and very happy with a ProJect Xpression III with the acrylic platter and Ortofon 2M red cartridge.

Did you have to adjust the tonearm height to adapt to the thicker platter? I had to jack mine up to the point where I needed spacers on the dust cover so closing it would hit the arm!

My current collection, in no particular order, and of course subject to change-
Thorens TD 126 MK III
Thorens TD 165
Kenwood KD 600
Kenwood KD 500
Marantz 6100
Empire 698
Connoisseur BD1
Realistic LAB 440- not of the quality of the above, purchased in error, wouldn't miss it if it disappears
Pioneer PL-S40- see above, but for $20
Yamaha P-450- on loan
Toshiba SR250(?)- on loan

No. It came with the acrylic platter so everything was setup correctly.

I had (now back in its box) a Rega Planar 1 - one of the newer ones. It was an interim deck to see if I was gonna get back into vinyl - and did I! I quickly replaced it with a Linn Axis/Linn Basik Plus/AT120eb - As decent as the Rega is, the difference in performance is night and day; the Linn at over 20 yrs old is still such a beautiful turntable. I now have a little upgrade bug, so will be looking to upgrade the stylus (ATN150SA perhaps) and buy a decent Phono Stage (currently using a Rega Fono Mini A2D)

My prize - JVC QL-A7

$399 off Ebay (paid for with proceeds from flipping three re-veneered Pioneer PL-518's)
+ stripped off the vinyl and applied real wood veneer
+ recharged the cue damping with 1M silicone (the 30k stuff was too fast)
+ new feet
+ new dust cover from JMK displays
+ Ortofon Blue cartridge and stylus

I've also got a really clean PL-540 sitting here that I'm getting ready to custom walnut plinth. :)
Nice table, I am a fan of the pioneer PL turntables especially the 518 I have the 514 and love it.

New to the forum here!

I just realized I actually have three TTs! One is not functional (my first player, being a cheap radio shack model). Last year I picked up an Audio Technica LP60 which I have been using for over a year but I just got a Pro-Ject Primary for Father's Day.

Hi All,
New here too.

Just thought I’d add my refurbished td125, took me about a year to get her to this state. Grace 707 tonearm , with Grace F9/SountSmith Ruby cart. Running with Lounge Phono preamp.

Here are my newest TTs. The first one is a Garrard AT6 and the second one is a Steward Warner. Both from 1947.
