He was a teen heartthrob before I was born; I knew him best from his John Waters' films in the 80s, and the film version of the musical Damn Yankees.

Well that’s a bummer, 86 years is a good run though.
I watched a Documentary about him not too long ago, he seemed like a down to earth guy.

Polyester was the first scratch and sniff movie. You got a card and when a number blinked in the corner of the screen you scratched on the card.
The scene where Tab pulls a Dutch oven on Devine while laying in bed the number starts blinking and nobody scratched that one though. LOL
