AU-9500 Indicator lamp wiring

Got AU-9500 in which someone was messing up with indicator light. LED was installed and wiring done on PS board, one wire soldered directly on the rectifier (!) The best part, same genius had cut off all original wires and threw away lens assembly. Is there any way to trace down where originals wires were attached, except looking at the schematics :) ?

not sure about this but maybe someone was trying to change the light to a speaker protect light indicator .. who knows ? needs putting back right anyway .

It looks like the original 'power on' panel lamp was a 6.3V incandescent bulb connected to a 5V transformer winding and protected by a 1A fuse (F004). The lamp itself is just a straightforward power on lamp, lit when unit is on and not lit when it isn't. ;)

Thanks, will try to trace it down. This setup looks like a land mine, who in his right mind would connect LED like that?

Yep, totally rubbish solution especially when you can buy a drop in replacement LED which works off the AC and doesn't need the unit modified in any way.....
Hilarious!! Until guys like us have to put it right....
