Saw Hawkwind so many times. And yes every concert was weird but great no matter the lineup

I am flattered by any comparison to Julian Hirsch. I let my subscription to Stereo Review expire after he retired.

Well to be perfectly honest I wasn't as financially well off as now to have bought more than maybe 5 albums a trip especially at UK prices at that time. I wish i could dial it back to 1982 in every way though

I remember it from the radio and MTV, never owned it. Like you, I was Classic Rock / Metal, but always liked some of the pop stuff.

Buy it but it make sure it's in clean shape. I find early 80's electronic stuff is unlistenable if any snap crackle and pop compared to say heavy metal

1983. Another recent LRS find.

The new poly drivers are tighter and deeper than the backup R2R drivers that are now relegated to emergency backup use.
And walks all over the Parts Express drivers that for the price, work ok until they eventually fry.
We now have a full set of 2 EMIT's, 2 polydomes and 2 woofs for the inevitable blown driver that's sure to come.
