Eico ST40

Nice sounding amp hooked up to a pair of A/D/S L520 speakers in my garage. I did the loudness mod but rarely use it.
Also using a SS rectifier in it.

the ST-70 went without a second thought...

Ask Wharfcreek. Don’t know about his credentials with ST40s but he is a very good tube man and a great AKer to work with.

I second Tom (wharfcreek)
I think he left town this morning . I know he had a 40 and i think the later little brother of the 2080. he should be a good source.
Going back to tone controls, they are in fact active (at least on the 70)
