A stupid question about Ohms

So as noted in a earlier post a while back I came across a Yamaha DSP-A1000 AVR receiver that I like a lot. I do not see any mention of using 4ohm speakers with it in the owner's manual. When looking at the center channel connections (you can use two) it appears to mention using speakers with a minimum rating of 4 ohms. Nothing similar appears on the back. Do you think it is safe to assume this receiver could handle a 4ohm load for the front speakers???

Thanks I missed that section. I will have to see if the back panel tells me anything. The plug is not European so I am thinking that might point to the fact that this was built for the North American market.
