You started a thread less then 24 hours ago that you have a lead on a Kenwood Kr-5300 for $100 that you state

Why would you be willing to spend $125 to $175 (your guesstimate) or possibly more for a unit that is not working?
if the Sansui G5700 is in the same shape why would you be willing to spend $125 to $175 (your guesstimate) or possibly more on top of the $125 you paid less then 10 days ago?

If you REALLY want a Kenwood whether it 's the KR-5030, KR- 7400 or 7600 stop spending money on units your not interested in (Sansui G5700), looking for late 90's/early 2000 units, or looking to pick up non working units that you hope can be repaired in the $125 to $175 range.
Here's a KR-7400, serviced, free shipping, and 30 day money back guarantee you could of picked up a couple of days ago for $220

Bottom line is you gotta pay to play, if you wanna keep scrounging around CL in Houston posting wanted to buy listings offering to pay up to $175 for specific models you're not going to get anywhere.

I am just asking what would be the best route
Get the Sansui G 5700 fixed
Get the free KR 7600 and get it fixed
Get the KR 5030 for $100 it is in good working condition it is a 8 out of 10
KR 7600 is worth a decent amount in good condition $200 or less to get it fixed might be the best deal for me.
