Today's Rock and Roll Playlist

Tom Petty ‎– An American Treasure/CD (the abridged two disc version) I got this to hold me over until the 6-album LP version drops in late November. Remastered, remixed and lots of alternate and live versions. Sounds great!

Cool box set with booklet and fine sound. Great replacement for the scratchy, bent corner used LPs I had for most of the early catalog.

I can't get enough of this one. I heard it in full for the first time during my freshman year at college in 1992 and it's been in play ever since. I love every track with my all-time favorite by the band being this album's closer "Release Me." I play the track three to five times when this one comes up on my server. Superb pick, 8xlaxx.

The Clash. London Calling. It only took me a few decades to warm up to this record. The older I get, the better it sounds.

The weird masses don't want to be normalized.
Weirdos want to be abnormal.
The freaks can't be formally normalized nor can we normally formalized.
What we want is complete weirdification.
