Last month's unintentional haul.

Couple of month's ago I picked up a B-2 with Vfets that might be slightly off. (http://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/picked-up-a-b2-feels-like-im-gambling.834546/)
So I've been watching the local ads just in case another pops up . Unfortunately other Yammies came up and I couldn't ignore cause they seemed like good deals.

MX-1 ($250) Missing two feet pads. Sounds great!

MX-1000/CX-1000 /MX-35/DSP-100U/DSR-100 Pro No remotes ($500)
CX-1000 is missing a button but I'm think of using one from the DSP-100 or DSR-100.
MX-1000 has a broken speaker terminal board.
I opened up the MX-1000 and CX-1000. Not a spec of dust.

What should I do with the DSP-100 and DSR-100? I don't really want them and based on past ebay sales, its not worth trying to sell. Scrap them for parts?

see if the buttons on the DSP are the same with the missing buttons on the CX-1000

I used to have the CX-1000. It's a great preamp. What a score!

NO! Buy a couple fo pairs of small speakers, connect them up and use them - they're a great laugh!

Oh, and by the way, that's a hell of a haul - nicely done!

Looks like I'm going to be losing the MX-1000/CX-1000 to my dad. His C-70/M-50 is having problems and I think he'll like this combo.

I took a part the DSR-100 to salvage a button for the CX-1000, the button is the same size but different form factor.

I'm going to try to cut it down, then glue it on. Any suggestions for glue?

The old man complains about the C-70 not having a remote and the guy I bought it from hasn't found the remote for the CX-1000, so I decide to take a chance on a RCX VK38000 remote.

What works: Power, Phono,CD, Tuner, Tape1/DAT, Tape2. Aux maps to CDV2
The 2 EQs, sleep, and Play/Cut doesn't seem to have any effect.
For my dad, he just needs volume and the CD controls, I think this will work for him.
