Victoria BC - Vancouver Island Deal Alerts

Not bad for $25. Manual and crack free dust cover (although a few scratches) included. It's now sitting in my kitchen getting a look over.

Azimuth refers to the headshell (and hence cart) being parallel to the platter / record when viewed looking at the front of the cartridge. The pic showing the cartridge looks like the headshell is canted to the right.

It could be off. Here are some pics of the cartridge.

It does look a bit canted. There is a little screw under the end of the arm tube near the headshell. If you loosen that a tiny hair, and twist slightly and tighten again you might correct it.

The screw is awkward because of the location but in fact if the headshell is already twisted you might not even need to loosen anything as it could be loose enough. Just try to tweak it back to the left gently but firmly. Be careful as the aluminum tube is relatively soft but give it a shot.

Except he has other things for sale ... and I doubt if beer cans, wine bottles or an old high-chair are big ticket items for a troll.
