Good evening, folks.
I found another RUSI (relatively unpopular sealed item).

Frankie Laine's Golden Hits
Mercury SR 60587, 1960

Silent surfaces and clean sound. I have similar on 8-track, cassette, and CD. Now a record.

Still no Blazing Saddles theme (this recording was too early, but there's gotta be one somewhere).

Funny you should mention this one. I can assure you that the present crop of 15 year olds LOVE this track, or did when they were 10, at least. All is not lost.

Thunderstruck seems like a peak for the band, for guitar tones, and song arrangement ...It's like a three act play. Intro, conversational verses between the players, solo section and the walkout. What a great hard rock tune.

Tomorrow, I am going to attempt the impossible and try and compile a playlist of my top ten pieces of music across all genres

I have managed to get the candidate-list of several thousand down to just 20. Some of them are quite long, so I am going to reinstate a few tracks and split it into four playlists of six tracks each (in no special order) and play them over four nights
