B & W Pics

"Play 'em off!"
Here are some B & W shots I got with my Nikon F65 SLR camera using B & W film. Some of the pics were taken thru store windows, some at a very old cemetary in town.
Maybe the admins could make this a sticky, then whoever wanted to, could post their B & W pics here.

Here's a B&W shot with a discouraging story:

I took this shot with a Casio digital at EPCOT in 2001, and at that time I was in the habit of printing shots I liked and pinning them up on the side of my cube at work.

I printed it in black and white because I thought the color in the kiosk was really distracting from the geometry of the tent:

I got not one comment on the composition, good or bad. The only comments I got were "why isn't it in color?" :thumbsdn:

I got discouraged about posting any prints after that.

Really cool! I forgot how nice those pics could look, but it helps when there is a good photographer behind a nice machine in the first place! +1 Very Nice!

Aspens

A small stand of aspens from eastern Arizona. The scan from the contact sheet not up to par with the actual print.

Dangit!!! Every time I see the name of this thread, I think it's gonna be pictures of British speakers that look like giant snails.
