The Ending Letter, New Natural Feature Game

This one's the same as the NEW CITY game but we use only natural (not man-made) features. These can be anything; terranian, subterranean, oceanic, atmospheric, or extra-terrestrial. Pretty much anything counts as long as it's not a political entity, a structure made by man, or anything else that was from human's oversight. Islands can count if its name is not a country's name (that's man-made).

Use only the last letter from the post above you to identify the next thing.

ADDITION:
Question:
A lot of things are listed as "x mountain" or "x bay" or "x lake" etc. Should we always (or usually) detach the descriptive "mountain" "bay" or "lake" and use the last letter of the unique name?

Let's do this: You have a choice to use either the name proper, or the descriptor to form your next choice. Without that, there will always be "the question".

To start the fire:
Mid-Atlantic Ridge

EDIT: You should also give a location if not obvious from the name of the feature.

Good question. Let's NOT USE the descriptor word's (but still include it for clarity) last letter and go with the last letter on the name proper. (i.e. Baffin Bay would transfer 'n', not 'y').
