I believe Yahoo only has 1 way to pick draft order and you can't go random,
So it will be opposite of finish from last year..
Meaning last place picks first and winner last..
(since we are all back from last season here)
At the moment I'm thinking not this coming weekend but the following Sunday,
At like say 8:00pm eastern, as to not affect many peoples Sunday night shows.
Any thoughts on this time/date?

I can't recall prior year results being a factor. I drafted 12th last year and did not finish last in '13. Is this new or are you making shit up to exploit your lousy 2014 performance? :nono:
I think the day your are describing is the day before Labor Day.
Well if you drafted 12th last year no you would not have finished last in 13, duh!
(most leagues draft reverse of previous years finish, I "assumed" we did as well) DUDE!

I believe that's how he sets the draft order in the keeper league he's been running for some years now.
Wouldn't always work here I'd imagine as not every year do we get all the returning bunch to come back.

OOPS. I saw that and was thinking it was September 5.
But how/why would you have a draft that far into the season?
Brady's suspension will be almost over, so there's that.:scratch2:
If you want to do it Labor Day weekend, Monday would be better than Sunday, as it's a "School Night" so to speak.

It may be tough to find a date agreeable to all 12 with notice being so short. Some folks may have to do the dreaded auto-draft. IIRC, Retro ran wild a couple seasons back with a computer born lineup.

The draft order can be either random or set. In my keeper league we go snaking (12-1,1-12,12-1, etc) based upon the previous years results, like the NFL.
In the AK leagues, I let it go random because we never had everybody come back and there always were a couple new guys, so Yahoo would generate the order and you never knew when you were drafting until you entered the draft room.
But with all the same guys, I can see going on last year's order too. One benefit of it is that you can plan and target guys a lot better knowing what pick you have each round. Well, at least the first 3 or 4 rounds that is.
Quite honestly, I'm not sure which really is better 1 and 24 or 12 and 13....
