I have owned the XPL140, 250Ti and still have the 4425. XPL200 is the ultimate in delivering a more modern sound and because of the four way design, better distinction between instruments and vocals, etc. The 4425 was a studio monitor, and I love the compression driver, but they just sound so different. I think if you do any kind of so called "critical listening", the XPLs would be best. And the XPL200's are extra rare and go for at least twice the cost of the 4425's....

Your ears are the best judge.
