Transformers were made in July or Aug 1966. Complete units probably sometime in Sept, or Oct. Units in stores for sale about XMAS 1966.
No joy on the cap #'s.
Not enough resolution in the original photo to expand it without blurring and pixelation. @ 300% it was shot in that area.

That 50694T on eBay is not correct. That number is listed in the description but the picture shows it as 51694T.
Just a update on the tan colored can cap cover we all thought was exclusive to the 1800. I saw a Fisher 500C today on the auction site that had the brown colored cover. serial number was 79812AM Item look up # is 332101159577 No affiliation and the unit is unrestored. Must of been the last run of the 500C's? Al
