Completely new to to veneering. I've done some solid wood woodworking with Quarter Sawn white Oak but never veneer. I have an old set of Bolivar 3-way speakers (cheap cabinet version of L-36 JBLs) and the vinyl and some of the particle board on one corner is crunched. I was thinking if I could get the vinyl veneer off I'd look at covering with a veneer to learn and have some nice looking (and sounding) speakers.
I get the veneer application, but not sure how to do the corners or the front 3/4" borders.
Thanks for any advice.
If I'm successful redoing the surrounds, I'll start the veneering this fall/winter.
