      Hello,

My name is Rao, Hope you are doing good. Couple of years back you have posted on this site about replacing the 2sc1345 with BC550c in your Kenwood KR-9600 receiver. How did it go? Actually I have the same reciever with 180mv and 200mV of offset on both the channels. I am also planning to replace the input transistors and have bunch of BC550c with me. Just wondering if they are good replacements of 2sc1345 or risk of damaging the unavailable output power packs. Thanks in advance.

About the input sensitivity thing...My Hafler 500 has an input sensitivity of 2.3v and my Sony 1000ESD preamp has anoutput voltage of 1.5v. Which would account for why I've always thought I was never getting the 'power' out of the Hafler I expected. Right?

Can the Sony be 'tweaked' to match the Hafler?
