Hi, did you ever figure out that issue with your Marantz 250? I'm having similar problem

Glad to hear about the 810s. The 250 and 3300 are sitting and waiting for me to finish up this Yamaha M-65 repair for a buddy.

Hey, wanted to let you know that both my wife and I love the 810s. Thank you. Any news on the 250 or 3300, or is this something you won't get to for awhile?

The first one I started on was the engraved face and it needed deeper work that I didn't feel like finishing yet. However, I just finished a second one and should get it hooked up later this week.

I'm an electronics student and would love to buy one of your old 2270's to rebuild for my receivers class....if you're so inclined. btw, you probably have alot of experience but my instructor is an old time audio guy & he said that he never saw a tantalum fail.
