Always check/ readjust bias when replacing amplifier components. Even if they're like for like.
It looks like the 4 prongs just need to be crimped to the switch body. I would remove the switch from the chassis to accomplish this....
Don't use the SX-1280 as practice. Find a piece of junk at the thrift store and practice on it.
So can you see where it goes on the fuse board ?
I guess you're going to have to restring a new piece of wire. White wire preferable but not a necessity.
Its just good practice to clean excess flux from the board after soldering.:thumbsup: I use acetone.
I wouldn't worry too much about voiding the warranty ...
Did it pull the pin off the board or just break a wire wrapped wire? Pin 2 is right beside Pin 1.
