Baddog07, I have some questions. I just picked up one of these as well for the intention of converting it into a guitar amp. Somebody bought the turntable off of it already, so I didn't have to worry about tearing it apart!
What exactly did you have to modify on it to make it a "Fender Deluxe"? Did you just recap\replace resistors on it?
Also, the guy I bought it from threw in a reverb tank off of an organ as a "free gift". I am decent at fixing issues with antique radios, etc., but I don't know anything about amplifier\tube theory\design. Would it be relatively easy to add this to the amplifier? Would it be done through the radio-phonograph section or the microphone section, etc.
I don't know much about amps as far as guitars go, as I am a beginner. Just thought you could shove me in the right direction.
